About Me
Written by Stephen

Who am I and why am I qualified to talk about fishing for the disabled?

Well lets start from the beginning. I grew up in the fens of East Anglia, Cambridgeshire to be accurate. I spent my early years fishing most of the fenland drains and some of the larger rivers.

I joined the Royal Navy at 16 and managed to see most of the world. Unfortunately, I injured my knees whilst serving and was disabled out of the Navy. During my time in the military, fishing sadly had to take a back seat, though I did manage to get in a few days here and there.

After I left the Navy, I was able to take up fishing again on a more regular basis. However, sadly life tends to throw you curve balls and things like a divorce did mean I once again had to put fishing on the back burner.

Now I am able to take up one of my favourite past times again, though a car accident (which caused a back injury) means I am not able to go as much as I would like.

I started this web site, in the hope of putting something back into the sport I love! To try and help disabled anglers find places where they can fish and have a relaxing time and hopefully catch some nice fish.
